Thrive Together Event Empowers Community Health and Connections

[Sandusky, Ohio – February 25, 2024] – Erie County Health Department (ECHD) hosted Thrive Together on February 19th showcasing our dedication to accessible healthcare for the whole family. The event, held at Sandusky Intermediate School, provided a wide range of health screenings, dental check-ups, and immunizations, offering attendees comprehensive healthcare under one roof.

Thrive Together brought together the various divisions of ECHD, including the Erie County
Community Health Center, behavioral health, dental, lead hazard control, healthy homes, and environmental health, highlighting the diverse array of services available to community members.

From mental health resources to dental services, individuals had the opportunity to access vital healthcare in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Beyond medical care, Thrive Together served as a platform for community connections and resources through ECHD’s grants division. Attendees also received valuable employment opportunities, empowering them to thrive both physically and economically.
The impact of Thrive Together was profound, with over 350 families benefitting from health services.
