Backed by a combined $6.3 million in active grant programs, we provide essential home repair grants for low income families and local landlords to systematically eliminate lead paint hazards, radon, asthma triggers, and safety violations in residential properties.
Our comprehensive, step-by-step program is available to qualifying applicants throughout Erie, Lorain, Huron, Sandusky, and Ottawa counties (excluding manufactured homes). Once approved, a licensed assessor conducts a thorough property review to identify paint, soil, and dust hazards, paving the way for professional, state-approved lead paint abatement and healthy home construction renovations. We handle everything from the initial inspections and contractor walk-throughs to managing the construction process.
