Will my insurance cover counseling services?
Most insurances cover counseling services. You can call the number on the back of your insurance card or visit the insurance company’s website to find out your plan’s coverage for counseling. If you don’t have insurance, our Outreach and Enrollment Specialist can help you apply for insurance. We also offer a sliding fee scale to help with the payment of your counseling appointments.
Do you accept my insurance coverage?
We accept Medicaid and most Medicaid HMOs including Buckeye, United Healthcare, Care Source, Molina, and OhioRise. We also accept Medicare and most private insurance plans. Please contact your insurance provider to check that we are a provider for your insurance.
How does the sliding fee scale work?
To qualify for the sliding fee discount program, you will be required to fill out an application and provide proof of income for all family members living in your household. Our scheduler will tell you what paperwork you will need to provide to qualify for a reduced fee for services. These may include:
How often will I need to come in for counseling?
You and your therapist will determine the frequency of your appointments. Some people schedule counseling appointments weekly, while others attend biweekly or even once a month.
Do I just talk about my feelings?
No, based on your concerns, you and your therapist will determine what your goals are, and your treatment plan will be structured to help you meet your identified goals.
