The funding, from the Health Resources and<br>Services Agency (HRSA) will be used to expand and enhance the behavioral and<br>mental health services offered by the ECCHC throughout the tri-county region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The grant funding will be used to expand behavioral health services offered through<br>the Erie County Community Health Center, the Erie County Detox, and Kaptur<br>Rogowski House. These programs provide a range of behavioral and mental health<br>services, including individual therapy, group therapy, medication management,<br>addiction treatment services and crisis intervention. EHCD\/ECCHC staff members also<br>provide case management and connection to needed community resources for our<br>community&#8217;s most vulnerable populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Access to behavioral health services is critical for all of our community members,\u201d<br>said Health Commissioner Pete Schade. &#8220;With the funding we have already hired a<br>new medical doctor, a new behavioral\/mental health counselor, and a new community<br>health engagement specialist. The Erie County Community Health Center is a trusted<br>community partner and member. This funding is essential for expanding access to<br>services for our entire community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ECCHC is the only comprehensive Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in tri<br>county area of Erie, Huron, and Ottawa counties.
