El prop\u00f3sito del Consejo Asesor del Distrito es elegir a sus funcionarios, nombrar a cuatro de los once miembros de la Junta de Salud del Condado de Erie, recibir y considerar el informe anual o especial del Departamento de Salud del Condado de Erie y hacer recomendaciones al Distrito General de Salud del Condado de Erie con respecto a asuntos para la mejora de la salud y el saneamiento dentro del Distrito, o para la legislaci\u00f3n necesaria.<\/p>

El Consejo Asesor del Distrito est\u00e1 compuesto por el Presidente de la Junta de Comisionados del Condado de Erie, el jefe ejecutivo de cada corporaci\u00f3n municipal que no constituya un distrito sanitario de ciudad (alcaldes de ciudades y pueblos), y el presidente del consejo de administraci\u00f3n de cada municipio del Distrito Sanitario General del Condado de Erie o sus representantes designados.<\/p>
