ERIE COUNTY DETOX CENTER – ADMISSIONS PROCESS

At the Erie County Detox Center, we believe withdrawal management is a critical emergent healthcare issue that requires immediate treatment. Therefore, we do not book appointments in advance or reserve beds. If you believe you are in need of our services, please call us at (419) 624-3353. Our staff will let you know how many beds we currently have available. All beds are available on a first come – first serve basis.

Prior to admission you will be asked to complete a pre-admission screening form. This can be done upon arrival, or you may complete the form in advance by clicking on the link to your right. Once you have arrived, an intake assessment will be conducted to determine the most appropriate care for you at this time (*note – an intake assessment is not a guarantee of admission). If you require a higher or lower level of care than we are able to provide, we will make arrangements to refer you to the provider of your choosing. Please make sure your transportation does not leave our facility until your admission is confirmed.
