Lifeskills PhotoThe Erie County Health Department has provided Botvin’s LifeSkills programming to many students in the Erie County Schools.

The LifeSkills program’s goal and proven outcome is to reduce alcohol/drug abuse and provide skills to make students more successful in the areas of goal setting, decision making, advertising persuasion, communication, assertiveness, reducing anxiety, anger management and conflict resolution. This is a Top Tier program extensively evaluated and recommended by The Center for Disease Control. Your Health Department is dedicated to using the most efficient and cost effective programs available to increase the health of our youth, families and community.

For more information about the LifeSkills Program, please call Abby Schwanger, Director of Community Health, at 419-626-5623 ext. 172.
