Check Travel Restrictions

State, local, and territorial governments may have travel restrictions in place, including testing requirements, stay-at-home orders, and quarantine requirements upon arrival. For up-to-date information and travel guidance, check the state or territorial and local health department where you are, along your route, and where you are going. Prepare to be flexible during your trip as restrictions and policies may change during your travel. Follow all state, local, and territorial travel restrictions.

If traveling by air, check if your airline requires any health information, testing, or other documents.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

The COVID-19 situation, including the spread of new or concerning variants, differs from country to country. All travelers need to pay close attention to the conditions at their destination before traveling.

If traveling internationally, check with your destination’s Office of Foreign Affairs or Ministry of Health or the US Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs, Country Information for details about entry requirements and restrictions for arriving travelers. Follow all entry requirements for your destination and provide any required or requested health information. If you do not follow your destination’s requirements, you may be denied entry and required to return to the United States.

TRAVEL RESOURCES

COVID-19 testing, and vaccinations are available at the Erie County Health Department / Community Health Center. Call central scheduling at 567-867-5174 to make an appointment. Additionally, certain travel vaccines may be recommended or required for international travel to protect travelers from getting diseases abroad that may not normally be found in the United States. The Erie County Health Department is the area’s sole travel vaccine provider – make an appointment with one of our providers 4-6 weeks prior to your international travel to receive vaccines and protect your health!
